do ciclo circadiano (<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1046\/j.1365-2826.2003.00989.x\">1<\/a>), o ritmo biol\u00f3gico que controla as fun\u00e7\u00f5es vitais, como metabolismo, produ\u00e7\u00e3o de horm\u00f4nios, express\u00e3o g\u00eanica e regenera\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Isto posto, podemos dizer que melatonina \u00e9 um regulador do ritmo do sono, ritmo neuroend\u00f3crino e oscila\u00e7\u00f5es em temperatura corporal, tendo seus efeitos dependentes ou independentes da sua a\u00e7\u00e3o nos receptores MT1 e MT2, os quais encontram-se distribu\u00eddos n\u00e3o s\u00f3 em tecidos centrais, mas tamb\u00e9m perif\u00e9ricos, incluindo, por exemplo, adrenais, f\u00edgado e pele (<a href=\"doi: 10.2174\/1570159X14666161228122115\">2<\/a>).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section estimulos sensoriais diversos, como luminosidade, temperatura e ingest\u00e3o alimentar, de modo que sua quantidade e qualidade (tipo, intensidade, dura\u00e7\u00e3o) acarreta ou n\u00e3o em perturba\u00e7\u00f5es no ciclo circadiano.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Na imagem abaixo, voc\u00ea v\u00ea a altera\u00e7\u00e3o do padr\u00e3o luminoso afetando ciclo circadiano e secre\u00e7\u00e3o de melatonina (<a
